The SOURCE for MENTAL HEALTH

It is important you feel respected, heard, and cared for. If you’re feeling depressed, anxious, stressed or dealing with issues that feel beyond your control, here are some wonderful providers who have stepped up to serve the LGBT+ community in our journey of wholeness and wellness.

Beverly J Anderson, LMFT #35010

CLINICAL ADVISOR
HEARTWORKS

I have more than 20 years of experience working with couples, families, adolescents, children and individuals and have seen the increase in need for mental health services within the LGBT community, especially with regards to those individuals considering or implementing a gender transition.

There is a significant disparity in available mental health services to LGBT individuals and an 8 x 's risk for depression and suicide in this group. I am partnering with the UCSF LGBT Education Resource Center to bring training and build competencies among mental health professionals in Tulare County.

Melissa Hudson, LMFT #115439

I believe it takes courage to seek help and personal growth, which is why I meet you where you are, emotionally, in order to work collaboratively with you. My goal is to provide guidance, support, and feedback in a safe therapeutic space to ultimately help you heal and strengthen your resilience. I help my clients identify areas they would like to develop and learn new coping skills in order to enhance strengths and abilities which can help them achieve a greater degree of happiness and contentment in their lives. If you would like a supportive therapist who cares about helping you achieve your goals and find the quality of life you seek, I encourage you to contact me to discuss your situation and what therapy might do for you.
